By the way, this is only a partial list. I would be here for days on end if I listed everything.
My daughter undoubtedly is my biggest event in my life that I am thankful for. A long hard wait for a baby, but worth every second.
I am thankful for the love that this little girl bubbles over with every day towards me even when I get sick on a "major" holiday.
I am thankful for my small, but, special, wonderful group of friends.
I am thankful for everyday I open my eyes. Even yesterday. I still was alive in this great life that we always complain about.
I am thankful for my health that gives me the power to take care of that beautiful little girl.
I am thankful for my pets, whom, in addition to my daughter show me the power of unconditional love. That you don't always have to give, give, give to be loved.
I am thankful for the power to give love and receive it with an open heart.
I am thankful for a roof over my head, heat when it's cold, A/C when it's hot. Food on the table, A vehicle that gets me from point "A" to point "B" even if it isn't the latest and greatest and isn't that pretty.
I am thankful for the fact that I learn something new every day and the fact that I am open enough to let myself learn something new.
I am thankful for, I think, most of all, all the love in my life, coming from God, my Jenna, friends, pets, or even sometimes the occasional stranger than just loves everyone.
Love is powerful. We all need to be loved. We all need to feel loved. We need to feel needed. We need to be part of something. Or we sorta feel worthless. And that is one of the worst feelings I can think of.
So, having stated that there are many more things that I am thankful for. This is only a partial list.
Truthfully, my thanks for things un-material and some material are endless. Everything I have (except perhaps some extra weight I want to drop) I am thankful for.
I may have forgotten somethings very important. But, if you know me, you know it is in there.
Well, it is time to make today Thanksgiving and uncage the turkey. Make it special for the Queen.
Next is the Christmas tree. I am sure that will be next week sometime.
I hope everyone had or if you are like me has a very Happy and Grateful Thanksgiving.
And if you were brave enough to go shopping, all the more power to you and I hope you got some good deals.
Til next time...
Just me
