Dust. How does it settle on moving thigns?

Now, I wasn't about to send the before picture.
Dust on ceiling fans that spin constantly kinda baffles me.
I mean, if it is spinning, how does the dust settle? How does it hold on? How does it get so bad you could plant something on it?
I don't move near as fast as the ceiling fan and I am not dusty. Not that I have noticed anyway. No one has brushed off my shoulders or my head.
I know where is comes from here. My dogs and the famous NC clay. It isn't a mystery.
I get the fact that it settles on tables and all. Just ceiling fans have baffled me.
And it figures too. The highest thing in the house that you may have to dust with the exception of plant shelves. (I bet I could plant ivy up there and let it cascade down the walls that need painting) Hmmm, that is a thought. Ivy grows anywhere. My experience anyway.
But, still, how does it get onto the fan? We breath this stuff. My lungs must need vacuuming. That is a scary though. But, there are lots of things to be scared of. That is another story though.
I just happened to clean this one last night. Put the globes in the dishwasher too. Looked new when I was done. But, for how long? This isn't something that I treasure doing.
But, like anything else "dust happens".
Til next time...
Just me
